Nightsong Says Thanks to Great Vendors from Courtney & John’s Reception
Another great night with a spectacular vendor team and our band, Nightsong. We had the honor of providing the dance music for Courtney & John’s wedding at the beautiful Fairmont Hotel in the Colonnade Ballroom. A great team makes for a spectacular and seamless event — and this wedding reception was no exception. So we’d like to give a shout out and thanks to all the professionals who make our lives easy so we can look great to our clients.
Happy Birthday to the US Army from…Grooveline
Grooveline was honored to have been selected as the dance band for more than 1800 guests last weekend as the US Army celebrated it’s 236th birthday. Read more about the history of the Army and this amazing celebration by visiting the US Army website.
Grooveline played two continuous hours of variety dance music to a packed dance floor and shared the stage with Howard University’s premier vocal jazz ensemble, Afro Blue, and the World Classic Rockers (featuring former members of some of the greatest classic rock bands of all-time such as Lynyrd Skynyrd, Boston, Journey, Steppenwolf, Toto and Santana).

Nightsong Wedding Band Performs in Maryland with Top Wedding Vendor Team
Nightsong had the privilege of working with an amazing vendor team last weekend at Kirsten & Matt’s wedding at the lovely Spanish Ballroom at Glen Echo Park. Band leader, Bennett Scher, contacted us on Monday following the wedding to say how great all the wedding vendors were and he wondered if there was a way to thank them all for everything they did to make the night a great success for the clients and the band.

The Alzheimer’s Association held their annual Memory Ball this past weekend in Maryland at the Baltimore Marriott Waterfront Hotel. Our band, ‘Round Midnight, was selected as the live headline entertainment for the fundraising benefit. The theme was “Dancing with the Stars.”
