It’s the middle of the year and the end of the month but there’s always room for Christmas…in July! Don’t be distracted by the beaches and picnics – you have work to do before the snow comes back, especially if you are a member of your job’s human resources department or event planning committee.

If your company usually plans a large corporate holiday party it is best to book the venue and entertainment at least six months in advance (meaning you’re already behind). Consider this – most companies plan holiday parties during the six weeks between Thanksgiving and New Year’s Eve. Saturday nights are usually prime real estate in terms of a date, which means you only have six times to compete with thousands of other companies in the DC/Metropolitan and Baltimore area.

Entertainment Exchange offers a variety of bands, DJ’s, Christmas Carolers and of course St. Nick impersonators. Reach out to a booking agent today to get information on availability and pricing. You can also ask your Entertainment Exchange booking agent for recommendations on venues they may have worked with in the past which can help you to narrow down your search. Don’t forget about alternative options for dates (Thursday, Friday or Sunday nights). This may help to open your options up if your staff is willing to celebrate on a night besides Saturday. The key is to start the discussion now and we are always here to listen!
